Preference is given to applicants with a teaching assignment in the school district. A bachelor’s degree and prior coaching experience are preferred. High school/college participation is preferred. Must complete all SDHSAA and district-required coursework before first activity contact. District Volunteers: (Application) All volunteers must be at least 18 years of age, complete the volunteer form annually, and receive principal/administrative approval before serving as a volunteer. Individuals who will work independently with students must complete a background check. Volunteer coaches must complete all SDHSAA and Sisseton School District coaching requirements before serving in a volunteer position.
