We Want Your Input! Ben Reifel Gymnasium Community Survey
The Sisseton School District is seeking community feedback as the School Board considers the future of the Ben Reifel Gymnasium and athletic space.
Structural concerns, facility needs, and long-term planning have prompted the district to evaluate options for renovation, replacement, and potential additional space. October 7, 2026 Community Presentation information: https://aptg.co/p85lvY
Your feedback is an important part of this process and will help inform the School Board as it evaluates available options, district needs, financial considerations, and long-term value.
No final decision has been made regarding the project's direction, scope, or design. The School Board will ultimately determine how the district moves forward.

Printed copies of the community survey are available for pickup at the Sisseton School District Business Office during regular business hours. Community members may complete and return their surveys to the Business Office.

The South Dakota Services for the Deaf (SDSD) will conduct free hearing screenings at our school for grades: KG, 1, 2, 3, 7, and 11
THIS YEAR, HEARING SCREENINGS WILL TAKE PLACE ON: Thursday, October 29th
If your child does not pass the hearing screening, our facility will contact you with the results. Rescreens or further testing can be completed at no charge, with the pediatric audiologist at:

💡 Reminder for Families:
If your family’s financial situation changes during the school year, you can submit a new Free or Reduced-Price Meal Application anytime. Families qualifying for Free/Reduced meals must complete and submit an updated 2026-27 Free and Reduced Meal Application. Families who qualify for reduced meals will also receive free meals. If a current, valid application is not on file, families are responsible for meal charges until an application is approved and eligibility is confirmed. Free/Reduced Meal Eligibility does not transfer from one school year to the next.
💳 Meal Payments:
Pay for meals through your Campus Parent account - online or in the Campus Parent app. Recurring payments are available weekly, semi-monthly, monthly, or when your student’s balance is low (minimum $10 online payment).

Full payment must be provided to the photographer for each order.
